TASTING
Orchid and honey, pure and lifted; a strong wild-mountain air.

Smooth and sweet, a faint bitterness that melts at once, a strong and lasting returning sweetness.
At about 1,600m, roughly 200 years old, from the April 2026 batch. Naka ancient tree is defined by high fragrance, fine water, ample sweetness and a clear tea energy: a strong wild-mountain air, an elegant and lasting orchid or honey fragrance at the bottom of the cup, the aroma pure and lifted. The entry is smooth and sweet, sweetness within the liquor, the flow soft and full; though a faintly bitter base shows through the astringency, it melts at once and turns into a strong, lasting returning sweetness. The liquor is a bright gold, mellow and full — carrying both the ample tea energy of Banzhang and a clear elegance of its own. Mouth-watering comes quickly, the mouth turns cool, the throat feel is fresh and pleasing, and the aftertaste never ends.

SPECIFICATION

- Type
- Raw Pu-erh · Workshop No.1 series
- Spec
- 500g · batch 2026.04.12
- Region
- Yunnan · Meng Hai · Naka
- Craft
- Sun-dried: after withering, fixing and rolling, the leaf is dried in sunlight, keeping its activity — to drink now or to age.
- Water temperature
- 90–95°C; batches aged for years can take boiling water directly
- Brewing
- We suggest a 110ml porcelain gaiwan with 5g of leaf, boiling water in and out quickly: pour off at once for the first steeps, then lengthen each infusion. Young tea for freshness, aged tea for longer steeping; it endures many infusions.
