Mulan Tea Story · Mengku Large Arbor

A powerful entry, bitterness fading quickly, a strong returning sweetness and mouth-water, a full body.

At about 1,450m, roughly 80 years old, from the April 2026 batch. The Mengku large arbor is known for its "bold, commanding" character: floral-fruit and honey aromas rise boldly, with a clear wild-mountain air. The entry shows noticeable bitterness that fades quickly, turning at once into a strong returning sweetness and mouth-water — bitterness turning to sweetness in a single sip. The liquor is mellow and full, layered and rich; clear gold when young, turning orange-red as it ages; the infused leaf is plump and soft, and it endures many infusions.

SPECIFICATION

Mulan Tea Story raw Pu-erh, 500g two-tin carry pack
Type
Raw Pu-erh · Workshop No.1 series
Spec
500g · batch 2026.04.05
Region
Yunnan · Lincang · Mengku
Craft
Sun-dried: after withering, fixing and rolling, the leaf is dried in sunlight, keeping its activity — to drink now or to age.
Water temperature
90–95°C; batches aged for years can take boiling water directly
Brewing
We suggest a 110ml porcelain gaiwan with 5g of leaf, boiling water in and out quickly: pour off at once for the first steeps, then lengthen each infusion. Young tea for freshness, aged tea for longer steeping; it endures many infusions.

PACKAGING

Two-tin carry pack · shipped by the jin (500g)

Dimensions: tin 130×88×205mm, carrier bag 278×102×285mm (2 tins, 1 bag). Food-grade tinplate body; the reinforced carrier bag bears the weight, blocks light and keeps out damp — a gift easy to carry anywhere.

Capacity: 250g per tin, two tins, 500g in total. Orders are placed by 500g (1 jin); each 500g ships as one set.

CARE

Store in a cool, dry place away from strong odours; raw Pu-erh can age for years and grows mellower with time.
