TASTING
Honeyed lead, woven with floral, orchid and sticky-rice notes; clean and lasting.

Smooth and sweet, bitterness fading fast; sweetness melts and the mouth-water lasts.
A large arbor tree at about 1,400m, roughly 70 years old, from the late-April 2026 spring pick. Nannuo Mountain is the "starting point" in the mind of every tea drinker — the first place where thousand-year cultivated ancient tea trees were brought under care, one mountain raising a chapter of tea history. Its core is a single word: "sweet". The body is smooth, sweet and mellow, with very little bitterness; a returning sweetness that melts on the tongue and a lasting mouth-water are its signature. The aroma is clean and lifted, honey at the base, threaded with florals, orchid and a touch of sticky-rice scent — even young, the tea is beguilingly honeyed. The body is full and thick, the texture smooth and fine, layered and rich; a slight astringency fades fast and the returning sweetness lingers.

SPECIFICATION

- Type
- Raw Pu-erh · Workshop No.1 series
- Spec
- 500g · batch 2026.04.25
- Region
- Yunnan · Meng Hai · Nannuo Mountain
- Craft
- Sun-dried: after withering, fixing and rolling, the leaf is dried in sunlight, keeping its activity — to drink now or to age.
- Water temperature
- 90–95°C; batches aged for years can take boiling water directly
- Brewing
- We suggest a 110ml porcelain gaiwan with 5g of leaf, boiling water in and out quickly: pour off at once for the first steeps, then lengthen each infusion. Young tea for freshness, aged tea for longer steeping; it endures many infusions.
