TASTING
Settled and rich with a penetrating force, a wild note and a floral honey side by side.

Heavy, pure bitterness dissolving fast—bitterness turning to sweetness, a rush of salivation.
Around 1,650m above sea level, roughly 200-year-old trees, an April 2023 spring batch—two years aged. Laoman'e's core is heavy bitterness, strong qi, ample depth and a fast dissolve: the aroma is settled and rich, undeclared yet penetrating, carrying a singular wild note and a faint floral honey. Bitterness is its soul—on entry bitter as coptis—but the bitterness is full, pure and clean, a living bitterness rather than a dead one: once it opens, it brings a strong, lasting returning sweetness and a rush of salivation, the mouth and throat left sweet and at ease. The liquor is golden and clear, the body thick and full with a pressing weight; the tea energy very strong, the sensation clear. Those who dare to drink bitter tea come back, in the end, to Laoman'e.
Settled and rich with a penetrating force, a wild note and a floral honey side by side.
Heavy, pure bitterness dissolving fast—bitterness turning to sweetness, a rush of salivation.
