TASTING
Orchid and wild honey held back, with a fragrance that clings to the cup.

Sweet as honey-water, almost no bitterness or astringency; a cool throat-feel and a hidden fragrance that stays.
Around 1,300m above sea level, roughly 80-year-old trees, an April 2026 spring batch. Mansong Small-Leaf is defined by three words—sweet, fine, and a hidden fragrance that drifts. This small-leaf mountain, whose tea was once sent to the imperial court, drinks of a restrained nobility: clear orchid and wild honey held back rather than shown, and a fragrance that clings to the cup. On the palate it is sweet as honey-water, almost without bitterness or astringency, the body fine and smooth; yet within the softness there is an inner force—a few cups in, the body warms faintly, alive with tea energy. The returning sweetness is drawn-out, the throat-feel cool, the hidden fragrance lingering deep in the throat. The first two infusions are pale as water and easily underestimated, then turn golden and clear—and after twenty steeps there is still fragrance and still sweetness.
