TASTING
A quiet, lasting orchid aroma; in the cooled cup, a honey sweetness that captivates.

Sweetness direct and quick to arrive; the body rich and fine, infusing more than twenty times.
Around 1,500m above sea level, roughly 90-year-old trees, an April 2022 spring batch—three years aged and beginning to transform. Jingmai can be summed up in one word: fragrance—a graceful, quiet, lasting orchid aroma that is its clearest mark apart from any other mountain. The dry leaf already carries an unmistakable orchid note; on the palate the orchid dissolves straight into the liquor and fills the mouth; better still is the fragrance left in the cup, which holds a lasting, rich honey sweetness even when cold. Sweetness is clear and direct, quick to arrive and long to stay; the body is full and fine, smooth and rich in substance. It infuses many times over—usually more than twenty, and even after a dozen steeps the aroma lingers, faint but present.
