The steadiest grade of the main pre-Qingming picking, pan-fired to a standard process, with emerald colour, a fresh flavour and a crisp mouthfeel all at once. Crisp and bright on entry, a faint chestnut note mid-cup—an all-rounder suited to beginners and connoisseurs alike.

Craft
Traditional pan-firing; flat, elegant leaves of tender green, high heat sealing in the pre-Qingming freshness.
Water temperature
85–90°C; never pour boiling water directly onto the buds
Brewing
Use a glass or a white porcelain gaiwan with 3g of leaf. Water at 85–90°C (boil, then let it stand uncovered for about a minute). Water first, then the tea; wait for the buds to unfurl and drink within a minute or two. Refill when a third remains—fresh and bright, never bitter.

PACKAGING

Sealed tins, one flavour to each

Round, food-grade tin-plate body, 0.23mm thick; 84mm across, 125mm tall, model 84×125. Each tin holds 100g. A press-fit clasp seals the rim, with an inner liner bag and tie, wrapped in a heat-shrink film to keep out moisture and light.

Each tin is 100g; orders are shipped as 5 tins. Orders are measured in units of 500g (1 catty).

CARE

A pre-Qingming spring tea, shipped in sealed tins. Store away from light and moisture; once opened, reseal, refrigerate and drink it soon, to keep it as fresh as the day it was picked.
