Liuxiangjian is one of the Three Pits and Two Gorges—deep and shaded, short on sun, its damp air never clearing. The Rougui it yields has an aroma both keen and unhurried. - Pour 100°C water from high. First brew 3–5 sec; from the second, extend the steep with each round. Drain the gaiwan after every pour so the leaves do not stew. Good tea lasts many brews—no need to hurry.
